    Default LOOSE SEAT

My car has also failed the MOT because the passanger seat wobbles, this is due to play in the seat runners. Has anybody had this problem? I think you can replace some plastic bits that wear on the runner is this correct?

If you know anyone else with a nova, ask to borrow their seat. Your not going to fail an mot for your seat not matching.

I think i've sussed this one out now, as I have gone for the rally look I have removed the plastic trims from the seat rails, It seems that the seat actually sits on these bits of trim. So the play is from the gap where the trim used to be. Should have taken them off carfully and not thrown them away. Doh! Doh! Doh!

I'd try somewhere else not so concientious about the test next time. The bloke at the place i go to leaves all the sitting in seats stuff to me and when he asked about the repeaters I told him that it would be a right pain 'cos they were new wings without holes so he said OK as the front indicators can be easily seen from the side??!!
