    Default Brakes

does any1 know if gte master cylinders are the same as the other novas e.g 1.3sr.
does the gte 1 have a bigger bore? which would increase the swept volume of fluid .
Also does any1 run full race brake pads ,like ferodo DS 2000 or 3000, if u run DS 3000 do u run the servo or have it disconnected?.
Cheers and happy new year, hope u all got pissed.

i think they are all the same but the servo is bigger on gte/gsi/sri/d/td models you may need to fit a bigger master cylinder (astra?/cav?/carlton?)if you are using 16v rear brakes because of the extra fluid displaced

i changed the fronts to valver spec and bolted on the back disc brakes.

Ye, all same size cylinders, but i think u can fit bigger size off cavalier pr astra if ya want! I might have 16v brake set for sale soon with new GM pads + discs. Unless u wanna swop for 238mm ATE callipers from new Nova GSi.
