    Default bootrelease

    I am flushin the tailgate on my sr soon but i need to sort out a boot release first . when i am doin the tailgate i am removing the rearwiper also, so could i just wire a central lockin motor to the wiper wires and use the wiper stalk to pop the boot? would this work ,if not ,how is it done? thanx lads

    be careful using the wiper stalk to do it cos you could knock it while your driving along and the boot would fly open...

    thats what i did (mk1 rear wiper switch down on dash)

    u need a boot realese soleniod from festy xr2i or simmiler (central locking motors need more work)

    where did you get that? is it easy to fit??
