    Default Polished Alloys

    Hi Guys

I want to make my alloys look a bit more special and am thinking about getting them polished either myself or a company.

What i need to know is if i was to do it myself does anyone know the best technique and also do they fade after a while

    thanks for any help

i have heard that using wire wool and paint stripper can give a highly polished look to alloys. It has to be repeated often though.

I wouldn`t bother really. Even if you get them laquered afterwards you`ll have to clean them all the time or else they`ll fur up and look shit! I`ve seen some quality silver paint (on peugeot motorcycles of all places!) that looks the dogs and would be a lot easier to maintain, just a thought
