Default URGENT HELP NEEDED! (Hub / disc / driveshaft loose???)

Right, just taken n/s front wheel off to lower the ride height slightly(coilovers), and if I hold the disc in my hand and wobble it - it seems worryingly loose!

The disc itself is tight on the hub- but the CV joint area seems to be the point of most play - where the hub meets the shaft.

    How do I tighten this?

Is it safe to drive? (guess not!)

    Similar experiences?

    PLEASE HELP!

    Rob.

After consulting the good old Haynes manual, I agree that the driveshaft nut isn't fully tight.

Don't think its a wheel bearing - certainly no whining noises.

Will hopefully sort it out tomorrow!

    Thanks for the advice.

disc is attatched to drive flange which is pressed into the bearing. the drive shaft just slides into the drive flange, so if the drive flage is loose tightening the driveshaft nut probably wont do anything, as its most likely that the wheel bearing has collapsed, they dont allways make a noise when they go, i've known a few to just fall apart without audible warning.
