    Default jbl sub

Hi has any one got a JBL GT4-10? thinking of buying one sometime next week. Good or not? If not can anyone suggest another 10" sub for the same money? I mostly listen to hip-hop. Also can anyone reccomend a decent cheap amp to power the 10" and pair infinity 6x9s. how many channels would i need?
    thanks,
    lauri

They're good for the money! I paid 30 quid each for mine last may, dunno if they still are that cheap though.
You're probably gonna need a 4 channel amp (2 bridged for the sub and 1 each for the speakers) and anyhting 1000watts+ should do you

JBL subs are pritty crap if you want a good 10" sub take a look at a Alpine Type R or Audiobahn stuff.

duno what splx it is it's a green one i don't think they make them specific ones now, its' a 12" running from a mutant x 2 channel amp,

off of the head units i've got two apline 6x9's which originaly sounded bad but i've altered the settings on my head units and they sound much better,

and two kenwoods and 2 pioneers in the front that have had the front output split amongst them split,

should probably have got all speakers the made by the same people really.... oh well

I've got no probs with the sound it's really crisp n i like it! !
