just keep calling moto, you'll find better ones, then play them off against each other. Some people quoted me 2k for a 1.0l :? managed to get it under ?700 eventually

Try Tesco and CIS, both are good for young drivers.

Elephant and Admiral are usually very cheap (?700 FC BC1 on my 'Four  ), but not too sure what they're like for the young 'uns.

    i doubt you did mate.

I can onyl just get insurance for ?1600 on a gsi conversion in my 1.2 at the age of 19 with 2 years driving.

most insurance companies aren't dealing with engine conversions at all, especially not at 17.

plus, Admiral don't qoute you untill your a month away from the start date, because they cannot keep qoutes for longer, due to a highly fluctuating market.

Could have been in parent's name... Afaik Admiral aren't particularly mod-friendly though.
