    Default amp keeps cuttin out

the problem is ive got a jbl GTO6000
the big 6 channel one runnin a sony pentegon
(bridged) into 300w and a set of 200w rms 6x9s
everyone who ive told said this should really shake
but its pretty quiet and when turned up past half
way on me head unit it cuts out the door speakers still
work cuz they am coming straight off the head unit
it does it every 10 secs or so i went to my local
audio shop and he told me its my battery cant take it
so imagine my displeasure when i spend 40quid on a new
battery and it still cuts out now my mates uncle works
in a audio shop and he says its either the power cable is
to weak cuz its only a 360w kit or the amps fu*ked
but my mates got the same amp kit and hes runnin 2 500w amps
jus wonderin if anyone else has had the same problem
    cheers

see if a power cabs works!

i have 2 batts and 2 power caps and it still performs shite,

seeing as you only have a small system just try a powercap!

I've got a Magnat Combat 4000 (1kW max) amp running 2x 12" Sony pentagon subs. Can get them pretty loud and not had any cutting out problems, thats off a standard nova battery an alternator.

Doe you have a little red LED light up o nthe amp? Could be an auto-protect circuit cutting out the amp.... often happened on my old one, usually when it overheated though.

yeah sounds like the protection circuit is activating, check all your wiring is correct and if it's still doing it i'd get the amp checked by a dealer.
