    2.0 16v or 2.0 8v what bhp do they both produce in a corsa

    2.0 8 v bhp are they both quick when in a corsa is the 8v big block still

    u cant beat a valver but the 8v's are cheap as chips and easier to find,
    115bhp or 130bhp sri

    and if the 8v is in good nick it wont take much to make it quicker than a valver and they are more reliable too.

    guys could you just clear this up, , what is meant by 'big block' and 'small block' engines?

    Small block Engine= 1.0, 1.2, 1.3 1.4, 1.6
    Big Block Engine = 1.8, 2.0+
    For example a 1.6 8v cam will fit in any 8v small block engine but not a 8v big block (as the cams are longer for these blocks)
