Do you need it as a back up?

I keep mine T&T'd so should there be any issues with either of the Daily cars it can be pressed into action.
Although at present it is useless as the brakelines and rear beam aren't actually connected to it.

It's my daily but use the mrs car aswell but haven't used it as my daily for a few months due to covid. Plus getting the little man in and out is alot easier in the mrs car .

I think you have answered your question mate. If you don't need to use it then save some cash as well.

I know how that is mate. The other half is a nightmare when it comes to making a decision.

Personally, if you can afford to keep it T&T'd then I would. But if you could do with saving the mega money we have to pay on Tax then Sorn it.

Haha. Its not the money it's the lack of use whether it's worth it to tax and mot it just to sit idle with the restrictions iam not using it as much as I want to.

Mine's been SORN since 2008... does that help?

On a serious note all depends on these points which you've already kind of mentioned

    - Will you use it realistically?
    - Would sharing a car cause inconvenience to either one of you (i.e. is the mrs not gonna pester you about using hers l o l )?
    - Do you have the facility to store it where it won't be in the harsh weather?
    - How likely is it that you'd need a car for something more urgent and the Mrs isn't at home for you to use her car, thus causing a significant problem?

If the above are of no issue then SORN it for now. If it's all good & road worthy, once you need it more frequently you can get it tested and taxed quickly.

    : )
