I have tried putting a 32/34 on my 1.3. It runs fine on the pierberg so engine etc are good.

After fitting and it idling really badly I spent time making new gaskets, making sure all jets/emulsions tubes etc are correct according to info from weber. For driving the carb goes perfect but the idle is terrible, it won't go below 1500 rpm and is unsteady however, after a little hard acceleration it either stalls or struggles for a few seconds then works it's way back up to the rough idle. Turning the mixture screw right in doesn't make much difference either.

I bought a rebuilt kit of gaskets etc for the carb and have downloaded the fitting instructions aswell as the set up but it is still the same. I don't think it is an air leak but I can't understand what is wrong. I know I could go and get someone to set it up but.....I want to know what is wrong myself if that makes sense, I have managed to build up and convert carbs before so a bit frustrated I can't figure this out.
