    Default Fuelpump priming

I've got the current situation that my fuelpump doesnt prime when i switch the ignition on pos 2. The car itself runs , and when it runs the fuelpump does run, so only when i switch the key to the position the lights on the dash illuminate it doesnt run.
It was allready some time a go, so im not completely sure, but i thought in my car the pump is directly connected from the ecu towards the pump.

In first instance when i bought the car (C20xe 1991 Nova) the pump would allways run, even when i switched the key in pos 2. I rewired it so the pump only runs when the engine runs, but now the the days of boredom are in so i thought i would have a go on fixing this. In my recollection the pump should prime 2 secs if the key is put in pos 2 and stop if the engine isnt started, but im not sure..

It won't run mate. The pump relay is triggered by the crankshaft sensor so unless the engine is running the pump won't run. It's normal , mine is the same.
