Front Perspex in today, used Ford Focus & Ford KA window rubbers. Fit perfect after trimming them down

Focus Mk1 Main Rubber, Focus Mk1 Outer Scraper, Ford KA MK1 inner scraper.

I’m going to be getting a few more sets of these and I’ve got the measurements of what they need cut down too. So if there is enough interest I may start selling them as a kit as they fit bang on. Will only be looking to cover the cost & make a slight bit of money on each set. But will probably be something that I would be happy to do after lockdown if people are interested in here & Facebook.

Good info on the door seals, should definitely help someone doing the same! Dash is mega too, I'd love to have mine properly wired it's chaos behind the dash!

I don't understand the lock stops, any more pics?

Yeah I think it would help a few folk especially seeing a few folk asking the same questions about what rubbers to use all the time. Yeah dash is a proper job, everything done with plugs aswell so everything can be taken out separately.

Only got one other photo of the lock stops. All it is, is a big washer that slides into the inside of the rack. You then just secure it in the rack as best as possible. And all it does is stop you from turning on full lock because the washer is stopping the rack arms from going to its full length in the rack. This then means the Outer CV joints aren’t going to be on full lock aswell and your not doing any damage to the race & bearing in the CV because they can easily pop out when on full power on full lock because of how much stress is on them. Another thing I will be running is a 5mm Plunge spacer that sits between the Shaft & Hub too keep the plunge at the minimum.

Chucked a seat in tonight and got my position on the seat rails bang on. Rough idea of where I want my steering wheel at as I’m gonna be using a weld in quick release boss because I wouldn’t be able to get out of the car with a standard boss because of the cage and seats. Makes abit of a tidier job aswell
