Nice mate, I've just signed up for the JSS at Cadwell, hopefully this year I'll not break a driveshaft on the sighting laps......

Planning to do the whole series next year, I said that last year but Covid fucked all plans!!

Love reading the progress on your car. Amazed at the amount of work and the smart mods you've incorporated. The new workshop must be great for working on your car. Well impressed. Enjoy!

First Rally done with the new car this weekend on Warcop army ranges at the Pendragon stages. 35th Overall & 2nd in 1400 Class.

Good to get to grips with the car, only a few things to sort in service all day. Very lucky to finish as about a mile off the end of the last stage I took a cut abit harder than I should and the shock of the impact snapped the header tank bracket which tore a hole in the tank. Got to the end of the stage and only lost a tiny amount of water.

    Top work mate. Well done.

What are the chances of that header tank being the thing that broke!!! Crappy old nova plastics!! Ahah

Thanks mate it?s took a fair shock on the passenger side, a load of stress marks around the bottom of the strut top behind the header tank. Think if everything wasn?t stitch welded it would be a different story

Looks really smartly presented Joe, I like that.

And I see another nice looking Nova in the background of one of your photos too. Keeping them alive

Did something hit it?? Or literally the shock of the bump caused it to spontaneously spring a leaky hole??
