Default Nova 1400 16V Rally Car

Thought I would start a thread for my Re-Shell after a shunt on the Pendragon Stages in August which folded the rear end.

Picked a new Rolling Shell up from Aberdeen in late October, hopefully going for the cage & fabrication work at Protec Motorsport in Feb/March.
A lot cleaner shell which was a 30,000 mile road car until it was turned into a rallycar only 2 events ago.

Full Standard X14XE Engine + Complete bottom end with Omega Pistons & Rods going up to Bill Falconer in Scotland this Saturday. Going for his Race engine setup rather than his Clubman setup.

Dropped my engine off at Bill Falconer Engines up in Earlston, Scotland yesterday. That man is a genius with anything to do with Vauxhall 16v engines. Could quite happily wipe the floor with other engine builders out there just with the knowledge he has.

Brief Spec of my Engine getting built:
    Omega Pistons & Con Rods
    ARP Rod Bolts
    Baffled Sumped
    Low Temperature Thermostat
Modified Standard Exhaust Manifold With Down Pipe (Proven on the dyno getting more HP over tubular 4-1 manifolds)
    Weber 45 Carbs
    MBE ECU & Loom
    2.0 Ignition Coil
Alternator Lowering Kit With Adjuster And Large Diameter Alloy Pulley
Steel Flywheel For 7 1/4" Clutch
    Solid Cambelt Tensioner
    Re-Grounded Standard Vauxhall Cams
    Double Valve Springs
    Bronze Valve Guides
    Solid Lifters

Have a look on his Facebook page

Couple of hours down the lock up striping down the rear beam and GTE brake setup. Next up strengthening the beam ready for the new coilovers Hockly have brought out

Quick look at all the info that Hockly Motorsport have provided with the cage. Should hopefully start prepping the shell next week.
