    Default Front big hub help

    Does anyone know how much you mill of hubs or know we're to get one or anyone seeling them ?

    Machine the knuckle not the hub, had 2 machined hubs shear off on me

    Yes they become a bit weak due to lack of metal. If you still want to go down this route, I think LMF sell them.

    I wrote a guide on the forum for machining the knuckle which is a much stronger method. Have a look for it in Articles.

    Get the knuckle machined to fit the audi bearings and full size hubs never have to worry about snapping one

    I've looked at lmf my standard bearing is 64mn so what bearing do I use or do I need to change to 66mm hubs ?

    The machined hubs will fit either, 66 is normally corsa b. But i strongly advise against them

    Best advise is just follow the link that has been posted as once they are done they are done for good and all parts are avalible at the local motor factors . No messing around waiting for bits to come that will no doubt snap anyway .

    Cost me around £180 for mine if I remember right all parts and machine work included .

    What drive shafts do I buy for this conversation ? Im looking to know what standard ones because I have a man to shorten them just need to know is it 1.7 TD shafts or 2.0sri ones ?
