    So the archs need making wider to cover the wheels,"oh the joys" this car is a baptisim of fire never fiberglassed in my life . Pics are first layers not finished

    I also finished making the diffuser and the flat floor. The bumper still needs trimming but you get the picture.

    Cheers simps ,yours is gonna be mental. I used 1.2mm alloy sheet for the floor and diffuser and ill be using ply for the front splitter if its good enough for touring cars its good enough for me

    I came across a youtube vid from a race shop and I?m sure they said used 6mm alu for their floor! Seemed excessive to me, but made me wonder what kind of forces it may be under??

    1.2 to 1.5 aluminium is usually used for the floor skins but with extra bracing where you might stand to get in thats what they usualy use in all the drag cars i have looked

    What geo settings have you gone with?

    How far off the floor are you running? I?ve read somewhere that flat floors only start working once lower than 70-80mm from the ground??
