    Default Noisey water pump

The water pump on my 1.0 Nova has become fairly noisey so I assume I need a new one however, it is really cold here and it is not loosing water etc yet.

Do folk reckon although it's noisey it will go on for a week or two or do they suffer massive failure? The only one (apart from me damaging one) that I had to replace was leaking water.

    Thanks

Did it in my lunch hour, I enjoy how most things on the 1.0 are so easy, test drive later tonight.

Had a noisy pump on my Omega V6, it was noisy for 2 days then failed, big time
    Luckily stopped before it overheated

1 hour, the pump sits exposed on the side of the head with three hoses and just the fan belt running it, great engines! You can change the thremostat with just one screwdriver.
