How about an original GM GTE back box, had countless arguments over this, the GTE had a specific back box that came out flush with the bumper not at an angle like most people presume,
How about having 2 new ones of them?

I will not start to do a list, will be (nearly) endless. I'm a truly infected parts hoarder, I've got an Excel list of all new parts, is nearly 700 rows long!!!
There are not only a lot of body parts, but also boxes full of new decals, engine parts, water hoses, interior parts, new carpets .....
Beside that, the stock of used parts is also not small , even the collection of interiors is big.
What is the rarest now? Very hard to say. an early tach with an econometer? a new snowplough? new bronze glass? a genuine Irmscher Sprint? Or even a silly Nova game

i sold all my spare bits and bobs like interior trim spare wiper motors etc a couple of years back probably worth saving now but I didn't think so at the time.

my two favourite nova parts I have stashed away is some brand new all red rear lights and 8v Courtney turbo manifold.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, “DAMN, what a ride!!”

In hindsight it would have been a wise investment to have bought up small but valuable things like headlight protectors, coin trays, irscher rocker covers etc when they were not cool and sold for peanuts.
I guess you have to imagine it in context. Would you keep random bits of trim from a 16-plate poverty spec Fiesta or Corsa? In 1986 I bet nobody thought people would pay £100's for a dog poo brown blanking plate from a bottom-of-the-line granny wagon!

Rarest part I have is probably a NOS tick tock tach, most of them are reproduction now. There's not a great deal on old mopars thats particularly rare though, even being 47 years old its so much easier to get parts for the super bee than it ever was for the Nova.

On the GT4, maybe the TRD quickshift. Don't see many of them for sale these days.
