Default Big Als Nova GTE resto

First off Thanks for looking, any help or encouragement is most welcome.

Well after having these 2 novas sitting around for 11 years its about time I started to get things going.
Plans have changed some what since I fist got them, they were going to used to make a C16XE track day car, the gte being the donor for the blue which was thought to be in the better condition,
but due to circumstance it never got done, and they sat around for the last 11 years.
Anyway I used to be in the PNG back in 1997/98 when I owned my first nova gte I loved that car and always regretted part exing it for a Calibra.
So the plan is now to restore the gte with light engine and brake mods, similar to what I had back in the day.

    Anyhow here they are

and the shell ill be using to donate some of its parts

pretty much all the usually places they normally go will need rear chassis legs which i can take from the blue shell strangely the boot floor corners dont look too bad on the GTE although ive still to remove all the dynamat from the boot floor which is taking ages. Will need full passenger quarter panel, drivers arch repair panel some floor repairs, bat tray which i have front panel which ive have, haven't had the side skirts off as yet but think both sills. still have to take engine out yet.

A few more up to date pics of where im at.

older pic but shows passenger side rot on quarter panel

Engine wich runs really well even after 11 years of no action but will give an inspection plus sort all the gaskets

    loom all labeled up

Good thing bout this car is it seems all the panels are orignal except drivers front wing.
I know novas are a bit few mm here few mm there but i would be surprised if it let the factory like this but i cant see how else this has happened

Still looks like the spare has never been used

Previously stolen, or at least somebody tried. Is it right to assume that it now has a different key for the ignition?

You are correct some scumbag tryed to nick it about 4 years ago while it was on the drive waiting to go to the new garage despite it having 2 flat tyres no fuel or battery. They punch the door lock out which wasn't connected to anything then tryed to bend the top of the door over, then smashed the quater light window and broke the steering column cowling before giving up, they didn't try punching the ignition barrel so key still fits that and the boot lock, however the blue shel has a full set both door locks boot ignition and even petrol cap on the same key.

Cool, probably a weak child then. They tried breaking your steering lock from the passenger seat which is why the carrier is pissed.
