Breaking my 1989 Nova feature car: Summer 2016

My modified 1989 3 door Vauxhall Nova (Merit) is to be broken for parts during this summer to end a short chapter (and to fund buying property.)


Over the coming weeks/months; all interior, chassis running gear and engine parts will be going on ebay as and when they are off the car and ready to go.
I won't be doing it in a hurry, it will be summer long.

This week (18th April): I have listed a number of parts that mostly never actually made it onto the car. They were bought during the on going build but never fitted in the end. See individual listing for more info.

In the next week or so I will actually start removing parts off the car itself and it will be interior parts that will be listed first.

Just a thought, as Nova prices are on the up, is it not worth selling as a whole or al least having a go?, I'm sure there are people (with money) looking to relive their youth.......

Plug: Hi no quick rack, sorry. All parts will be listed on ebay, as said. Can't allow for any bagsy's.
Royston: I had thought of selling complete, but with this example (as in not C20XE/C20LET, old school/period/scene or original-esque: the favoured Nova's) I think there is a better chance of getting the most possible back, by breaking. I am contemplating rebuilding once stripped; to a lesser, minor/low spec and getting it road worthy again. So I might not be selling what's left after, as a rolling shell - but an MOT'd 1.4/1.6 8 or 16v running working car.

January 2016's Total Vauxhall Magazine feature is a good place to see the spec: I never got round to updating my build thread, its quite a mess as they often get. But I can pm a spec to people on request, no problem
