    Default mig welding mask

Anyone know a cheap place to get a decent mig welding mask from? Don't want to spend a fortune.

my advise would be machine mart and pay for a decent one!! , i bought a cheap-ish one on ebay once and after welding for and hour i ended up with flash,

end of the day its there to protect your eyes, and they dont grow back

i use a Esab warrior mask in work for mig and tig. really good quality and worth the money. for home i bought a cheaper parweld one but dont like it. if you plan on doing a good bit of welding better off to spent the little extra on a good one.

Get a proper auto dimming one for sure, lifting up a non-dimming mask between welding doesn't sound too annoying, but when your actually doing it and constantly wanting to check your progress its a real time saver.

Theres cheap ones on ebay that do the job nicely.theyre only about 20quid and are fine for mucky mig.too slow for tig really though.
They come in crazy designs too.I used one of those everyday at work migging for months.

There's eBay leopard masks that get a good review. £20 for a black one.
