anyone fitted bike carbs to a 1.2?
As above, has anybody fitted bike carbs to a 1,2 8v? Ive a low milage merit, and not sure if i want to change the engine as its all so original, toying with bike carbs for a wee bit more grunt (noise)
There common on the 1.4/1.6 8v engines, with good results (yes the 12st engine doesnt have as good a cylinder head, etc etc, but once made and jetted, it would be 10 nuts, throttle cable and a coolant hose to fit them, nice and easy!
