Default Inside of Tyre rubbing on coilover at the front?

Put a set of speedline alessios on my mk1 nova with coilovers and the tyre runs on the coil (quite low)
is this common? Should I just run a spacer to bring the wheel out a bit?

You can run a spacer to get the clearance or use shorter springs as that's what I have done with mine

Think the spring options is better idea so I can have bit more clearance on the arch, any idea what poundage sping rating for an ex engine to use?

What coilovers are you running? Most people tend to use a 300-350 spring for road use.

Just a pair of technix coilovers, they have a camber adjuster at the hub bolting point so I'll have to get that set right before I can judge what is best I guess

You might find you have larger diameter springs. You really want the smallest (1.9inch iirc)

Or what size tyres are you running? you might just have wide tyres...

Widths are a little arbitrary anyway.... Depending on the brand they can be 5-10mm wider than stated
