    Default Wide-arching a wide-arch kit

Apart from the race car of Toymex, can anyone refer me to Novas which have had additional REAR arch extensions added onto the wide arch kit?

I'm considering wider wheels at the back of my hillclimb Nova, but the ones I fancy will stick out another 1.5 inches beyond my current wide arches.

So I'm looking for inspiration on how I could extend the arch and still look good.

    Thanks.

Colin if I was doing it again from scratch I would just cut the existing arch and stretch it out further ,I don't really like e look of the arches on my car but it's function over form for me

Thanks Jezz, I had considered doing that but I just thought I'd see if there are any other ideas out there.

Would it not be easier to just buy another pair of wide arch rear arches, then fit them on top and bow them out slightly to get the desired width and cut away the other wide arch panels underneath if you still want it to look good and be wider.

colin, what are the current rear arches made from?? if they are grp, can't you just cut & stretch them & fill in the gaps afterwards? surely there are enough lads in your neck of the woods who would do some light grp work for you for beer

    Colin

Try and track down some of the racers in the Germany hillclimbing scene as they all seem to be running really really wide arches....

Although thats a Kadett not a nova !

    Any good?
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
