    So i know the xe series of engiens love a bit of nitrous and deal with it very well...can the same be said for its retarded cousin?

    the only thing wrong with an ecotec engine is that it isn't a red top..........

    It is a few hp behind one because of tighter emissions laws, and the fact it got production engineered for reliability.

    bloody use one, as they are cheap as chips, and there are literally millions of them about

    I am tempted to buy one as a replacment for when i kill the small block. I have seen them on ebay with all the kit. Box. Loom. Ecu etc etc for around 200 quid!
