front single windscreen wiper conversion

right unfortunately the hole that my drivers side windscreen wiper sits in on the scuttle panel has got the common problem we all know as RUST! looking to do a single wiper conversion but finding it hard to work out what I need. ive heard parts from the citroen ax work but
1. can anyone confirm this?
2. what parts from the citroen do I need?
3. is it a straight plug and play swap or will wiring need to be done?
4. is it a straight forward fit or does it involve cutting or drilling for things like different mounting points on the motor?

any light shed on this will be a big help, as at the moment I have no wipers on the car what so ever, and the weather is only going to get worse from now. the rain is coming

That'll be the easiest way, mod the existing linkage rather than fit a whole new motor setup.
