    Default Noris the Nova!

Thought it was about time i did a project thread and introduced my nova! He's called Noris, he had to have a name, I've also had clifford the clio, colin the corsa, miguel the golf and john and harry the horseboxes!
Basically, first car at 17, drove it round rusting with a terrible £20 ebay special exhaust and not exactly the prettiest wheels but i loved it as you do with a first car, 2 years ago i decided it needed to have a 'make over', took it into the unit, stripped it, dropped out the engine with big plans to put in a c16se with throttle bodies, left it for ages, went back to it, prepped it for painting and had it painted, kept the white but went with Audi ibis white. And its come to a stand still since after buying a z16se gas conversion by accident in my sheer excitment (thats for sale by the way!)
Anyway, coming up to the 3rd year anniversary I've decided to just put the 1.2 back in and run it standard for a while after finding a nova meet on Facebook So Fingers crossed for me and Noris that its back on the road by october and we are at the old post office barnsley on the 4th!

You need to upload the pics to something like photobucket and then copy the links from there.

Looks good, nice start for a project too.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Looking good so far Cute name too!

BTW to match that new paintjob, boiled linseed oil on the bumpers....used them on my Mk1's two weeks ago and got a far better result than ANY B2B or other leading brand. Good to see you're going to go with keeping the original 1200 engine for a while. Day to day the small engines are nippy enough. Unless you plan to use Noris on the track in future!
