Do love the metallic grey you've used to the skits, rear bumper lip and spoiler, what colour is it?
    Cheers mate.

The reason I have the twin is that the old exhaust used to be on my old GSi that had been unfacelifted to a GTE.
But the piper system was for a Mk2 not the mk1 bumper setup.
Que modifications to the bumper and the twin arrived. It's also got 3 rings round the tips which ties in with the bumpers.

The grey was an unknown to what colour it was, had it scanned and it comes back to a Mitsubishi colour. I'll have a look at the can I had made up, not sure if it has the name on there.

It's a good grey, nice metallic effect, would be nice to know what it is for future reference.

Oh right, either way it looks different and good.

Thought I best update the thread. So after getting the shocks on the next thing I needed to do was replace the front to rear brake lines, not that they needed to be changed but due to the new flexis to be fitted.

The other thing I wanted to do was to try and protect the rear beam, new brake lines here, plus new bushes and handbrake cables.

I may have miss calculated how low I had the car. Have taken it back up and surprisingly no rubbing. I might look at rolling the front arches at some point.

Found a few parts in the garage, mirrors aren't going on but the lights have along with my single wiper.
Also found a place to supply a pair of replacement gas struts, then had them Carbon wrapped.

Car then had to move out of the garage while the garden was done.

So with the car out the way it would be rude not to start getting the 1.6 back together.
So we have a now lightened and Balanced flywheel
    Balanced crank
    New piston rings (wonder why)
New main and big end bearings.
ARP big end bolts as well.
All torqued up. Now need to fit the baffle plates and oil pickup.

So with the show season being a little bit meh. Darren and I decided to take a little trip to North Norfolk and Cromer.
Great to meet up with him and great to have a run out.

So with the smoked rear lights I wasn't happy with the brightness of the lights so went all out with a full set bar the headlights, of LED bulbs from Autobeam, not cheap but damn they look good and are really bright, really crisp flash on the indicators as well.

Oh and finally got the single wiper fitted and set up.. the night before its MOT... which it passed of course.

You've been busy! Like the carbon wrapped struts, nice touch.

Car is looking nice (I do like white on black/dark grey) and a cool ride height.

    What's next?
