Default not sure if i need a pk5 or pk6 belt

how can I tell which I need, as in the parts places its listed as pk6, but looking at the pulley, theres 5 ridges in it.

    confusing ?

Its not the ridges on the pulley you count, its the indentations, if its got five ridges then a 6pk belt sounds correct tbf

But if its a c16se then surely it shouldnt be running a multi-V belt?

4 ridges in the alternator (5 indentations)
5 ridges in the crank (6 indentations)

the outside indentations are bloody small/tight tho ... is that normal ?

    is a multi-v different from a pk5 / pk6 ?

I should have checked the old one before I binned it

I don't like how tight the outside slots are. they look too small for a belt to sit.

maybe its supposed to take a pk3 ? hmm
