    Well thats what lad suggested gapping wise on floors. Does alot of historic, grp4 escports, stage cars etc so will do me. Fair enough above pics are about 4/5in gap though.

    Surely too stiff would lead to stress cracks instead of slight flex on a competitive non-tarmac cars?

    Underbody looks good, I like the strengthening plates on the front mounting points.

    Best tell f1 engineers they are making the chassis to stiff then, thats why they wont go round a corner very quick

    Next, we weld the seats support.


    The passenger seat is set at the lowest and the rearmost possible.

    After the bodyshell, we restore the fuel tank and filler neck.
















    Mounting the fuel tank on the car with new fuel pipes.

    A little restore on the steering rack.








    We paint the brake servo and fit it with the steering rack.




    We fit the steering column with two rigid spacers (20mm) to lower the steering wheel.







    Soon, the next big step, the motor !
