Awesome work. Now that's some cracking on.

So sorted my oil leak, all seems ok, car feels strong, pulls well, been running it in fairly hard, currently on mineral oil, will go to semi syn next and then I've got 20 litres of Millers CFS 10/50, on Iain's recommendation, if it's crap I'll smack him.

Popped to see Darren and Jay today in the car. Showed them under the bonnet and old boy Al saw my coil mount and told me it was a "pile of shit and we could make something better" so we did!!

    Much happier with that.

Little road trip planned for tomorrow morning, 140 odd miles, then I can ditch the mineral and get my semi on

I used millers fully synth 10/60 in the vx, and have to in the 500... it's good stuff, temps are mega stable so almost no need for a gaylord oil cooler

I love it how some people say subtle things.

Nothing exciting today, other than a rear crank seal leak!!!! Gotta drop the engine out again to fix, only the 4 time I've had a rear seal die beginning to hate them!!

Oh and my shitty pedal box clutch pedal broke and I had to drive home without a clutch

Stupid design, can't wait to get the hydraulic one sorted

Also changed these bolts as they were annoying me looking like they weren't tight

    Much better looking

Fortunately my life is fulfilled enough without the need to race people, however, if the tiny insignificant fact that your "standard" Clio will beat my Nova brings some fulfilment to your life then I encourage it, everyone needs to have success somewhere in their life.

Just don't be too disappointed if it's not the case.

Thanks Lewis, but I think Craig's or Iain's would be closer to a proper race car!! Mine's just pretending!!
