Good work, but why? Your shell's off getting built, new engines off getting built.

    Why strip this one?

Hahaha hot wife is off doing whatever she wants mate!!!

Cos the new shell is going to be a long long way off and I want to carry on doing days this season.

So down at Modus today, stripped and looked at, re-bore needed, the broken ring has spent a while scoring the bore!!!

Rods and crank are absolutely fine so new pistons on order and re-bore this week

Should be back by next week

Timing will be a bit off, probably 2-3 weeks, looks like we'll have to sleeve cylinder 1 then bore it all to 86.5 as we can't find standard 87mm pistons!!

The other option is a TSV block we have in stock and bore that to 86.5 but sleeving the bore is only £200 so by the time I've messed around collecting the block from our stores the £200 is better spent sleeving and it'll be a faster turn around!!
