Things are getting real
We're also pretty confident that valve springs were to blame for the previous failure, the original valve springs, which I don't know the spec of, weren't capable of controlling the valves over 8000rpm and led to piston valve contact.
They were perfectly happy at 7800rpm but as soon as the limit went up they cried wolf and went on strike.

New engine being timed up and just days away from collection
New ECU loom being measured up
Shouldn't be that far away, hoping for a first start in early August and a dyno session mid August.
Well there it is
Strapped in the van, just got home, workshop tomorrow to get it in the car and finish some other jobs.
Hopefully won't be too much longer.
