Car will be at VBOA, but won't be running as the wiring wont be done.

    Busy day today,

when I moved the car off for wiring a few weeks ago there was a puddle of oil under the car.

Couldn't really understand it, as when it's running there was nothing pouring out....

Believing it to be crank seal we whipped the box out in 45 mins flat.

Despite a bit of oil out the bolt holes the seal was surprisingly dry... got the air line out to clean and blow it of, as the nozzle got onto the sump join to the block an explosion of oil out the crank bolt holes!! Bloody sump leak.

So off with the sump, 3 bolts round that end loose!! School boy error when I fitted them, no sealant on the threads at all.

    Clear to see!!

Bit of cleaning and some 3 bond

Then I snapped a bolt putting it back together!! With luck on my side (for a change) I managed to work the broken bit of bolt out with a pick!!

    Clean and reseal, back together.

Flywheel and box on quick wash and it's ready to be a paper weight at VBOA!!

    Piss off pal.

I barely did them up. I was surprised as it normally strips the thread instead of snapping the bolt.

Houses arms are calibrated. Unfortunately the calibration is between small ogre and large ogre.

    Piss off pal.
