    Good for side mounts or bottom mounts, allows for low seating position.

    I would go t45 as given the £300 as a percentage of the overall spend on the car it's minimal and its something you'll regret later
    Not only is t45 lighter it's significantly stronger

    They don't use the t45 for nothing and its lighter so you can add extra tubes and still come in under the weight of a standard weld in.
    Those seat rails look a bit limited on adjusting?

    Thanks for the pics mark, big help. I was wondering how I'm going to mount my side mount seats! I'm going to have a think about which one to buy supposed to be saving for a house just now

    I have a fabricage multi point cage in my car ,similar to custom cages one & a bit cheaper as well i think i remember previous owner saying, your welcome to drive the 32miles to the armpit of society that is Peterhead & take a look

    Nice cage mate looks very similar to the custom cages ones.

    I'm just jealous tbh and think a lot of people on here would kill (within reason) to build what you are although I'm sure there's a fair few purists making voodoo dolls as we speak (you know who you are!)

    I still stay at home just now though mate so I can afford it just now, trying to get as much out the way as possible before I buy a house, my gf finishes uni in a year so I've got about another year and a half or so to be spend happy

    Not going to lie I kind of feel bad for doing this to a gsi though I'll have all the parts to change back if I ever decide to not that i will though
