Default gsi wont start any ideas where to start

Got this silk violet gsi project and I got it as a none runner ,I have since put on 2 temporary fuel lines to engine via the pump but when I go to try at start it the pipe blows off connection ,has any one got ideas of what it may be .
Note the connection wasn't screwed tight but it still didn't want to start
Should I check if theres a spark next ?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated .

Hi. Just to confirm you have only one pipe from the fuel pump to the engine yes? The other is a return to the tank.

When you crank the engine does the pump spool up?

Do you have a dizzy or dispack?

When the fuel pipe blew off did fuel shoot out? Its prob popped off cos you had good pressure at the rail.

I would check sparks are good once fuel line is on tight, also check plugs for fuel smell after cranking

Tightened fuel pipe, doesn't seem to be fuel in cylinder and very faint spark at plug???
There seems to be 2 or3 alarms on the car at some time could these be the problem ,I have the fob for the alarm when the door is open and a key for one on the dash which allows the engine to turn ?where would I get installation manuals for these??

it looks as if it has 2 or three over the years ,and I,m in the process of getting info on them, it has a laser line alarm which I have a fob for and it turns off alarm when I open door ,I also have another which is like a USB end and I put in in the slot and it allows the engine to turn ,I,m getting fuel up to rail but no further??/??
