    Default Suspension bushes

Hi guys,Thinking of getting some suspension bushes made up out of acelyte..really tough stuff will be harder than poly bushes n hard wearing...Just wondering what interest there would be should stiffen up suspension and improve handling,First set made will go on my mk2 so will let you all know how it goes please let me know if youre interestd...Theyre most likely going to be cheaper than polyflex aswell,Cheers.Martin

I cant see a need tbh, personally I find the diff between std bushes & poly's negligible. However worn std bushes are the worst kind, going from crappy old std bushes to new upgraded ones is such a difference in terms of sharpening up the handling, thats why they get great praise.

i'd imagine it would be great for track use, but harsh for the road.. and how well does it squash to be press fitted into the hole?

its bound to come in two parts like the pollybush ones, so its just a case of squeezing the metal tube in

tj, i was asking the op, cos its characteristics may or may not be correct for the job. if its really hard, it might not compress very well, or too much & not be a good fit for the sleeve.

as my car use is road only, i prefer the std rubber bushes.. but my nova has only done 17000miles, so its bushes are still pretty good.. i think if i go for more power (hopefully) i would look at uprating the tca bushes, but i've got a lot of stuff i need to do first
