Bizarre! I swear that's the reg plate I got with my 1.6, I checked it on DVLA and it came up as a 1598 vauxhall so I assumed I remembered it right
I'll go an check it if the BMW doorstop still starts edit - deader than a dead thing
I'm sorry if you actually got to the motor factors with that Graeme, seems you have a couple to use now though!

It's still probably the same engine, I'd love to see the look the on the motor factors face when Graeme mentions it though
Well the thing is it must be the wrong reg, I thought it was what I used for all the parts when I converted my first car, but the plate is definitely off a Nova GSi so it can't be that one!
I asked if the guy had a reg when I collected the engine and he actually appeared out the garage with the plate off the car
