What will be the advantages??
I don't see an ability to adjust camber or toe??
I understand the advantage of wanting to have independent rear wheels but unless each wheel is independently adjustable I'm not sure the advantages are worth the effort.
That being said I'll be interested to hear how it feels and how it compares.
Should help by allowing each wheel to move more independently of the other than the standard beam, that's why the 1.6 cooper cup cars handle so well
Rear toe can be adjusted by adjusting the turnbuckles from the rose joint to the beam, still looking at options to adjust camber
Fair play. Be interested to hear how it feels
Interesting set up, bit hard to picture quite how it works. Is the beam split in the middle somehow?
Cleaning up and priming grommet holes for little plates to be welded in, took out one of the IRS supports as going to do from rear struts instead
More work on the dash
Removed part of the cross from the main hoop as really need the space, going to look at what else we can do here to retain some of the strength
Tacced in windscreen gussets and slightly modified tach bit on dash board to help with windscreen clearance
Started mount onto cage for clutch reservoir
Cut down cross brace as it was a bit too high
