When I bought my daily I managed to barter them down a fair way, but they wouldn't come down that last fifty quid, even though they had dropped a few hundred.

When I got it home I found 53 quid in change dotted around the car! I had to wonder whether that was why they wouldn't budge any further.

When i was a mechanic we got a taxi in for a service and after i had raided under the back seats and floor mats i went home £78.52 up, two weeks after that i found £50 at a rally and yesterday i found some bluepoint waterpump plyers at the side of the road and a full 1L tin of t-cut in a skip but the best find was 3 large hessian sack full of a selection of nuts, bolts, washers, rivets and screws at the tip 4 years ago
