nova GTE in red *majoritly original*
hey all, unfortunately im having to sell my daily nova as i need a bigger car to tow with. very regretable sale but needs must.
bit of a story before i got the car, was one lady owner up untill 2005 where it was p/x'd in and bought by somebody else. the car sat untill i bought it last year and hadnt seen the road since then. the log book has got only one former keeper on it which was the lady owner that p/x'd it so quite unusual to find this especially on a gte.
i bought the car to use as a daily, had to put the interior back together as it had some welding to the front splash guards and the boot floor. it has since had a small patch on the offside rear spring seat and the rear towing eye. some surface rust on the underside, i would have loved to have had it shot blasted to clean it all up.
it currently has the following mods, four branch manifold, drilled air box with panel filter, sportex full system, lowered on springs only, the shocks were new standard when i bought it, new battery when i bought it, satin black gte steel wheels, no centre caps, corsa gsi front brakes, needs new pads.
it made 92bhp and 87lb/ft at the wheels and 106bhp and 100lb/ft at the flywheel on 2 occasions on the dyno.
has 185/55/14 2 brand new uniroyal rain expert tyres on the front and 2 7mm uniroyals on the back, plus a uniroyal on the spare. over the year ive owned ive done cambelt and water pump, head gasket as this was going when i bought it, plugs, oil and fuel filter. waxoyled inside the front doors and rear inner arches, painted the engine bay inner wings and slam panel, painted AFM, air box and coil
the exterior has a few marks and scratches which i will get pics up of this, rear arches have no corrosion, front doors are the same, must have had a new o/f wing at some point. the rear bumper has faded bad, was always meant to paint it but never got round to it. the clutch judders a bit on take off mainly from cold.
the interior has no rips or tears in the seats, the dash clocks have a crack across the perspex, parcel shelf has no straps fitted, the central locking currently isnt working, tried a new module on it but still nothing, the clutch has a slight judder from cold also.
has 8/9months mot and 2/3months tax. its done 122k, car can be viewed at hr3, almeley, herefordshire.
in no rush to sell so will put a base price of £1300
