I see slicks are sized differently to normal tyres. For example I've just seen some that are 19/58/15. So what is each dimension then? Obviously 15 is the rim diameter in inches, but what's the rest? Rep is waiting, ta

not 58 but 580 most likely? circumference of the tyre in mm.
ah I see. what's the 19? overall diameter of the tyre?
Someone has balls'd up that listing I believe. should be 190/580/15 I would say? 190 is the width as usual, middle is the profile as usual (but expressed as a circumference rather than actually profile, if that makes sense?) and 15 is what wheels it fits on like.
I thought it was the overall diameters and not the circumference...?
that makes it about 23 inches across, so 4inch of wall, so sounds more right than circumference which would make it something like 5 inches smaller than the wheel
They do seem to get listed with the nought missed off. I noticed that when buying mine.
As said 19 is the width so 190mil and 58 is like the profile, just measured from tread to tread rather than rim to tread.
Pretty sure that's the size i was running at PVS, Can check when i get home.
These are 200/585/15
Most track tyres are marked different to slicks or drag radials, for E.G MickeyT's usually go by inch wide and inch overall height 22", 23" or 24" high etc
