    does the c14se need to have the water cool'd tb? or can it be by passed?

    They can be bypassed on all engines, not going to make any difference to your current problem though

    FWIW You should still be able to get the proper gasket from Vx as the C14 derivatives were used for a good while after the Nova.

    changed inlet gasket n TB gasket

    checked all vac lines 2 on TB , 1 on inlet.....all fine

    checked TPS n ICV and still goes staight to 5k when started

    could it be ecu related?

    when it start doing she said was was in 3rd flat out and revs never came down since that bloody women

    Maybe the throttle has totally stuck open and isn't returning due to loads of gunk inside it.

    tb is cleaned out

    cable moves freely

    butterfly aint stuck as tha moves freely to

    when its reving the butterfly is closed
