    ok so my innovate wideband

    ive noticed when the sensor is screwed into the lambda that it only just sticks out the end of boss



    does the boss need grinding down or is it fine like that

    I would say needs cutting so the sensor is in the gas flow to get an accurate reading

    nope it just says weld the boss to the exhaust prefferably in the 12 oclock position to stop condensation damaging it when not running

    id cut the boss in half then weld it to your exhaust.

    is that the lc-1? was going to order one up tonight.

    If it was me id tend to think that that was the right size if innovate supplied it that way. I know the audi s4 uses the same sensor and if you de cat them the the exhaust flow is too fast and dosnt give the right reading. people extend the boss to stop the engine warning light coming on.

    Wrong boss, you need one that is about 15mm max thick.

    That's the on that came with the box it was all sealed so nothing had been swapped
