    Default Help.

    Got a weird issue.

When i press the brake pedal, the indicator light lights up on the dash. I can also hear the relay clicking. I also buzzes when the engine is running, but stops when the indicators are in use.

Would this be relay related? Or a bad earth?

Poor earth at the rear light unit I should imagine. Check the earth at the back and the light unit circuit & wiring plug

Checked all the above. Still doing it.

What's strange is the indicator light doesn't stay on. It briefly flashes as the pedal is pressed.

Right new relay cured the light showing. But I still get a buzzing from the relay when the engine is running. Confused and frustrated!!

do the hazards work as expected and the same for both left and right indicators work accordingly without the engine on just ignition?

Have you checked your running voltage across the batt terminals in case its your alternator on the way out?
