    Default Head unit off leisure battery

    Im going santa pod camping in april any i have a leisure battery and would like to power a headunit and amp directly off it to put in the gazebo dont like the idea of using the stereo in the car and having to get up every 5 mins to change track and also leaving car open. Can anyone help please !!!!!!!!

    of course it will work. its not a particularly difficult thing to do, you'd need to make up a decent base to hold it & the speakers, but why not get an mp3 player & dock, or a cheap cd player with a 12v input?

    you are worried about theft, but leaving that gear in your gazebo is a magnet for a tea leaf....
