    Mike, without trying to antagonise you, I think what people are saying is that your constantly posting 'nova's are crap', 'fook paying that for a crappy nova' etc etc is boring and not what people want to see on a nova forum

    Not trying to start a argument btw just a observation

    I wouldnt say it if it wasnt true though Edd

    And TBH, I dont actually post it that much at all, so I dont know where these slanderous inigmas even come from

    What really narks me though, is a LOT of poeple on here are ready to jump on the band wagon slating other marques, when all theyve ever owned is either Nova's or something from the GM brand. Thats what really gets on my tits. (not pointed at you Edd, just in general.)

    Exactly, there a really **** old car that has nothing really going for them as standard other then there a hoot to drive at speed.

    There in same shÃ*t but cool list as:

    Montego Turbo (210bhp as standard but still epicly w@nk)
    Nissan BlueBird Turbo (hmmm, nah just w@nk)
    Panda 4x4 (good idea, badly executed)
    Mazda 323HF Turbo (180hp tetris designed car)

    I thought everyone thought they were sh*t

    I think some are nice but I could never justify paying more than say £1k on something thats older than me (ahem well nearly as old as me. )

    at the end of the day,everyone is entitled to their own opinion.Some think £7k is mad others dont.What narks me is "Fords are sh1t" "jap sh1t" "french sh1t" etc
    I know some are just banter but there is folk on here who really believe Vauxhall redtop Nova's are the best cars never made.Its unbelievable.
    Each to their own,but seriously.......
    If you think like that your in denial.

    realistically 7k is not a lot to spend on a nova considering 80% of the finished project threads on this site cost that +, not including the labour charges, storage etc. great car and worth what ever you want to pay for it at the end of the day.

    I built this car originally, it is worth the money in parts alone, everything on this car was brand new, i spent over 18k building it!! i would have this car back but unfortunately i have another project which is now tallying to over 55k so passed on it, if i had taken it back the wheels would be blue same as cage and the decals back on the wings, was never meant to be a sport rep but had to stand out, which it has where ever its been.

    You seriously have to drive it to appreciate it, obviously not massive power but in my eyes was enough front wheel drive and road legal.

    Brief spec of money spent off the top of me head

    Engine = all in around 6k, as before not built for massive power but enough, head £800 alone, pistons £500 gen oversize Mahle, oil pump £250, all parts gen vaux throughout, and obviously the ancilliaries, brand new starter - alt ect ect

    Suspension = Brand new leda's £1500, had uniballs £250,

    Box = £2500

    Wheels = £800

    Pro alloy bespoke cooler and rad setup = £800

    Reyland brakes = £800

    the list is massive i could spend all night, one thing i must mention is that this car was finished around 4-5 yrs ago by myself and painted around 6-7 yrs ago and it still looks stunning, never had any running issues apart from plugs - fuel pump - burst oil cooler, been on track many times

    Enjoy mate and keep us updated on it, and bloody look after it.
