Iv got some of the 13inch early Sr wheels and need a tyre size, i wont a lowish profile but a wide width if that make sense can anyone help me?

Also i need to fix the sunroof mechanism. Iv heard that i need to remove the roof lining to access this, Is this true?

You will have to remove the head lining to do much with it but it's not a major job to get it out just have to remove the windows and be very gentle with it some pics in my project thread how I got it back in again

Is it a tilt & slide? What is wrong with it?
I fixed the one on my old SR in the car with lining still in.

what width are your steels? if they're 4 or 4 1/2 inch wide 185's or 195's will look and handle rubbish imo as they're just to wide.

Yeah its tilt and slide mate and what i can work out is that the runners arent in the same position, so there not running in line with eachother

There is a guide in articles section on how to remove the head lining, you can get away with not removing the windscreen if it's just to refit it after fixing the sunroof,
success is only limited by a weak mind

Ahh so they're the early 3 spoke alloys. Iirc they're only 4 and 1/2 inch wide yeah? i'd go for something like this, 165/55/13. standard fit on a seicento sporting and look quite "low" Nip down to you local tyre fitting place and see if they've got a scrap tyre they could bang on to see what it looks like
