Nova SR Resto

Thought it was about time I put some pics up of my Nova.

Just a bit of background. This is a car I first bought it in 92 but ended up selling in the mid 90's. I then noticed it for sale a couple of years later so ended up buying it back & I have owned it since. It was then used up until 2001 (tax disk in car expired in April 2001). It was left on my parents drive for about a year but someone tried pinching it so i got a lock up for it which is where it has been until now.

This was it when I first decided it was time to do something with it after best part of 10 years in storage.



I brought it back home & as the pics show it was badly faded in places.



After a couple of hours with a buffer I managed to get a decent shine on it.





It looks ok in the pics but unfortunately rust has set in, so will all need sorting. The engine turns over but as yet I have not been able to get it running.

Once I have sorted this I also have a Yellow SR that I have owned since the late 90's & that was also last used around 2000.

I will get some more pics up as I go along

Cheers for the comments Plans at the moment is just to get all the rust sorted & get it back running & MOT'd. Will probably try get to some shows next year in it. Car will be staying standard - does have rear headrests & vented discs but they were fitted in the 90's.

Once tidied up & will sort the yellow one out.
